At the Purdue Envision Center, IGI supports a CAVE that is used for Clean Room and Nursing training through virtual reality simulation.  The Purdue Virtual Reality Theater is reconfigurable and contains two adjustable outer walls to accommodate audiences of varying sizes. The floor and three upright screens all support Active Stereoscopic 3D projection. Closing the outer walls into a CAVE configuration enhances the immersion, allowing environments and data visualization to be experienced in new and engaging ways. This facilitates the discovery of unique and innovative perspectives.
