Traditionally used for outdoor digital signage, modular direct-view LEDs have improved in quality to the point they are now being used more frequently for indoor integrations.  Mostly due to pixel density improvements, more detailed engineering and design review can now be done effectively, and the added advantage of direct-view LED technology is it doesn’t require a large amount of space like projection systems need.

Cutting/leading edge technologies in advanced visualization used to be for the Fortune 50 and U.S. Military due to the high cost, but with the recent key technology developments and lower price points the accessibility in other vertical markets has been greatly enhanced.
