Commerce, MI (July 7, 2009) – IGI has announced that it will participate in the first REDucation training event July 20 – 26, 2009 at Los Angeles Center Studios in Los Angeles, CA. The company will provide its IGI PowerWindow 4K™ for use in all classroom sessions and screening of 4K RED content throughout the week-long event, including Community Day on Thursday, July 23.t
The IGI PowerWindow 4K is a large screen, native 4K resolution (4096 x 2160 pixels) display solution that allows RED content to be viewed in its full resolution. Incorporating Sony SXRD® 4K projector technology, the self-contained, rear projection system features a screen size of 9'- 9" wide by 5'– 2" tall. The system's footprint is 12' – 4" wide and 8'– 7" deep. The product's unique form factor makes it ideal for a variety of production and post production uses as the film industry progresses towards an all-digital, 4K production workflow.
