Commerce, MI (March 3, 2008) – Immersion Graphics Inc. has announced an expansion of its operations with the opening of a new office in the northern Indianapolis suburb of Carmel, IN. Ted Woerner, formerly Director of the Design Visualization Center for Indianapolis based consumer electronics company, Thomson, will head up the office as the company's new Director of Tactical Sales & Marketing.

Immersion Graphics President, Pat Hernandez, says, "As a former customer of ours who managed a highly successful visualization facility for many years at Thomson, we are thrilled to have someone with Ted's experience and insights join our team. Woerner, who was one of the earliest industrial designers in the Midwest to apply 3D CAID (computer aided industrial design) in the late 1980s says, "When I originally hired Immersion Graphics to maintain our Design Visualization Center at Thomson, I had already come to the conclusion that it's engineering, quality and customer service led the industry.
