IGI recently wrapped installation of a #4K stereocopic PowerWall for a major automotive manufacturer in California. This 19' projection system will be used to visualize designs in original fidelity and also to scale. Other applications include virtualization of models and high profile presentations.

The #PowerWall system featured two +Barco simulation projectors. The Galaxy 4K-32 provides 32K lumens of brightness and a ultra-high 4K (4096x2160) resolution. This 3-chip DLP projector has extremely rich and uniform colors throughout the image. It also projects 2K active stereoscopic imagery in tandem with +NVIDIA 3D Vision Pro RF glasses.

A Barco HDX-W12 projector was included in this installation to handle all HD (1080p) sources. This 3-chip DLP projector also provides rich colors and great uniformity while illuminating the screen with 12K lumens.

IGI also provided an updated easy to use custom control system to meet the customers needs. A auto-shutdown feature ensures the system will be shut down if it is not in use, which in turns saves lamp life and cuts cost of ownership.
