To kick of this years North American International Auto Show, IGI helped produce and sponsor the MAIN Event 2013. This year's edition was held at the Max M. Fischer Music Center, home to the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
IGI provided a 23' PowerWall for the presentation segment of the evening. The massive display featured a Barco Galaxy 4K projector. Capable of producing stunning #4K or active stereoscopic images, this 23,000 lumen DLP projector supplied the rich imagery necessary to supplement all presentations.
This system was tailored specifically for the audience of over 200 automotive executives and designers. A PowerWall such as this is used to make strategic design decisions around CAD or CG models of potential production models. With a screen size of 23', designers can review designs at original image fidelity and to scale. This allows automotive designers to truly see what is important, and in turn optimizing their design process and cut overall costs.
