IGI will support partner Autodesk in their 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show Design challenge booth. Autodesk is sponsoring the event for 2014.
Autodesk called on IGI to provide large scale, ultra high resolution, advanced visualization technology for their booth located in the Design Challenge pavilion of the Los Angeles Convention Center. Featuring Autodesk's VRED 3D visualization software that helps automotive designers and engineers create product presentations, design reviews, and virtual prototypes, the booth will contain three unique immersive and interactive demonstrations of the software through a variety of large scale visualization solutions.
The 2014 LA Auto Show Design Challenge Theme is Sensing the Future: How will vehicles interact with us in 2029?
As technology continues to advance, our reliance and relationship with machines deepens. Even today, technology allows us to monitor our senses, feelings and patterns. This year’s Design Challenge explores how future technology will further transform human-to-machine interfaces that connect with our senses, predict our next moves and create a more humanlike relationship with our vehicles. The 2014 Design Challenge asks automotive design studios to explore an interior or part of an interior that emotionally, comfortably and safely connects the driver and/or passengers to the car in 2029.
