The Sony SRXT420 is truly an amazing piece of technology. It has been around for a few years, but it still ranks among the world's best projectors. Known for it's high brightness, superb contarast ratio, and wide selection of color space reproduction, the T420 knocks all visualization needs out of the park.

SRX-T420, the latest 4K SXRD projector from Sony, is designed to meet the evolving needs of professional applications and provide the ultimate picture quality. Equipped with three Silicon X-tal (crystal) Reflective Display (SXRD®) devices, it delivers an amazing resolution of 4096 x 2160 pixels (H x V) - more than four times the resolution of consumer HDTV (1920 x 1080). The SRX-T420 also provides a high brightness of 21,000 lumens and a contrast ratio of 3000:1

The SRX-T420 uses four input boards to create it's 4K image. Four quadrants of 2K (2048x1080) resolution video are tied together using the graphics driver's software. A four headed nvidia graphics card or QuadrPlex 7000 is put into SLI Mosaic or Premium Mosaic mode to provide the user with 1 single 4K desktop. This proves to be highly advantageous for applications that require original image fidelity for their visualization needs.

A optional Sony Real D lens turns this ultra high resolution projector into a stereoscopic powerhouse. Equipped with this special proprietary Sony lensing, this projector is capable of displaying passive stereoscopic imagery at 4K resolution. Paired with a high speed media server, uncompressed 4K 3D film never looked better!
