This video is part of a Case Study conducted by Samsung about the IGI PowerWall installed at Hyundai by Immersion Graphics, Inc. (IGI). Our history with Hyundai goes back to 2003 when we built their first IGI PowerWall at their Ann Arbor, Michigan Design Center.
We were one of the first companies to show the automotive community Samsung's "The Wall" technology back in 2019 at our 4K Forums in Detroit and Los Angeles. Since then, IGI has installed over 11 PowerWalls based on the Samsung COB technology. When we showed Hyundai the new Samsung The Wall they were excited.
This custom IGI 4K LED PowerWall provides the ultimate in high-resolution, large-scale visualization providing stunning image quality for multiple uses such as design reviews and critical image analysis, as well as business presentations. The IGI Custom 4K LED PowerWall consists of permanently installed Samsung .8mm pixel pitch direct view LED “The Wall” modules with NO bezels. This PowerWall provides a viewing image size of 21’ wide X 7.5’ Tall and a resolution of 7,680 X 2,700.
IGI has been in business nearly 25 years and has always focused on creating advanced visualization systems for the automotive industry. Primarily, with large displays of at least 20' wide by 8' tall for PowerWalls, and VR Rooms which are for viewing spatially correct models in 3D. One of the unique aspects of IGI is that we do everything in house including system and electrical design, programming, mechanical engineering and fabrication. We also install and support all of our own installations throughout the United States.
Immersion Graphics, Inc. (IGI) provides audio visual design, engineering, consulting, product sales, control system programming, custom fabrication, installation, preventative maintenance, and extended support services out of its headquarters location in Detroit and west coast operation in Los Angeles.
